Become an Elected Precinct Committeeman

2026

Dear Republicans,

We would like to share important information for those interested in becoming an Elected Precinct Committeeman (PC) in Yuma County.

What is an Elected Precinct Committeeman?
A Precinct Committeeman is an elected grassroots leader of the Republican Party within a specific voting precinct.

PCs serve as the official link between voters in their neighborhood and the Republican Party, representing their precinct at the county level and helping shape the direction of the party from the ground up.

Why is it important to be an Elected PC?
Precinct Committeemen are the foundation of the Republican Party. Elected PCs help:

  • Represent Republican voters in their local precinct
  • Vote on party leadership and internal party decisions
  • Assist with voter outreach, education, and election integrity efforts
  • Strengthen conservative values at the local level
  • For every 3 PCs, we get one State Committeeman seat, which gives us representation at the state level. This allows us to vote for state party leadership, bylaws, amendments, just to name a few.

Strong precinct representation ensures the party truly reflects the will of its voters—not outside interests.

  • Any registered Republican or Independent voter in your precinct may sign

Only voters registered in your specific precinct may be used for signatures.

(Main Street location)

Important Deadline

📌 All forms must be submitted no later than April 20, 2026.

If you have ever considered getting more involved in shaping the future of our party and our community, becoming an elected Precinct Committeeman is one of the most impactful ways to do so.

One final note, while you are out and about collecting signatures in your precinct, consider talking with your Republican neighbors about also becoming Elected Precinct Committeemen!

A couple of years ago, I filled up my precinct and it wasn’t hard at all! Just make sure that you check the chart to see how many openings are in your precinct.

Thank you for your commitment to conservative values and local civic engagement.

Sincerely, The Yuma County Republican Party
