2026
Dear Republicans,
We would like to share important information for those interested in becoming an Elected Precinct Committeeman (PC) in Yuma County.
What is an Elected Precinct Committeeman?
A Precinct Committeeman is an elected grassroots leader of the Republican Party within a specific voting precinct.
PCs serve as the official link between voters in their neighborhood and the Republican Party, representing their precinct at the county level and helping shape the direction of the party from the ground up.
Why is it important to be an Elected PC?
Precinct Committeemen are the foundation of the Republican Party. Elected PCs help:
Strong precinct representation ensures the party truly reflects the will of its voters—not outside interests.
To appear on the ballot as a candidate for Precinct Committeeman, you must complete both of the following forms (we already have some printed ones at HQ):
You will also need to reference the precinct chart that lists all 47 Yuma County precincts, the number of openings in each, and the minimum and maximum number of signatures required for your specific precinct.
Here is a link to all 47 precinct maps. You may find your precinct using these maps or by looking at your Voter ID (at the bottom).
Only voters registered in your specific precinct may be used for signatures.
Once completed, both forms must be turned in no later than April 20, 2026 to the:
Yuma County Voter & Elections Office
(Main Street location)
📌 All forms must be submitted no later than April 20, 2026.
If you have ever considered getting more involved in shaping the future of our party and our community, becoming an elected Precinct Committeeman is one of the most impactful ways to do so.

One final note, while you are out and about collecting signatures in your precinct, consider talking with your Republican neighbors about also becoming Elected Precinct Committeemen!
A couple of years ago, I filled up my precinct and it wasn’t hard at all! Just make sure that you check the chart to see how many openings are in your precinct.
Thank you for your commitment to conservative values and local civic engagement.
Sincerely, The Yuma County Republican Party
